Events & calendar

Service Scout lets you manage events (e.g. appointments, deadlines) and view them on a calendar. If your organization has it set up, events can also sync to Google Calendar.

Events

  • Open Events to see and manage your events.
  • Create an event with a title, date and time, and (optionally) an event type.
  • Edit an event anytime to change its details.

You can switch to a calendar view to see events by day, week, or month.

Event types

  • Open Event types to define categories for events—for example “Appointment”, “Follow-up”, or “Delivery”.
  • Event types help you filter the calendar and can be used to color-code events so you can scan the calendar quickly.

Settings

  • Under Settings → Events you can set defaults for the calendar (e.g. how events are shown or which type is default). Your admin may have already configured this.

Google Calendar

If your admin has connected Google Calendar, events you create in Service Scout can sync to your Google Calendar so they appear in both places.
