Services, devices & parts
Service Scout keeps catalogs of services, devices, and parts so you can quickly add them to estimates, orders, and invoices.
Services
- Open Services to see and manage everything you offer (e.g. repairs, consultations, hourly work).
- Add a new service with name, description, pricing, and any other details you use.
- Edit a service anytime to update its info.
When you’re building an estimate or invoice for an issue, you pick from these services as line items.
Devices
- Open Devices to manage your device inventory (e.g. equipment or products you track).
- You can view and edit each device’s details.
- Device sales reporting is available so you can see what was sold and when—handy for tracking sales and inventory.
Parts
- Open Parts to manage your parts inventory (e.g. components you use in repairs or orders).
- Add or edit parts and keep stock info up to date.
When you’re preparing an order or estimate on an issue, you can add parts as line items. See Invoices and billing for how that fits into the workflow.
Order templates
- Open Order templates to create reusable templates—for example a standard set of parts or services you often use together.
- When you’re creating an order on an issue, you can apply a template instead of adding every line one by one, which saves time.
